University’s Digital Transformation Committee Holds Regular Meeting
The university’s digital transformation committee convened its regular meeting, chaired by Prof. Dr. Khula Salah Khushan, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs. The meeting served to showcase the progress made in the university’s digital transformation journey and to launch a suite of new digital platforms designed to bolster the digital transformation within the institution. These platforms aim to enhance the efficiency of educational processes and foster a more advanced academic environment. Notably, they include a platform for tracking graduate student affairs, the Tech-ScholarPlus Academic Researcher platform, and a financial and administrative platform.
This initiative aligns with the university’s overarching vision to leverage modern technology in education, administration, and the creation of an interactive learning environment. Moreover, it seeks to streamline communication between academic and administrative departments and simplify academic procedures through digital management systems.
The committee emphasized that digital transformation has become imperative for achieving efficiency and sustainability within the university. It highlighted the importance of collaborating with the national data centre to fulfil the university’s data storage needs, thereby enhancing data security and protection.
