Academic Collaboration between the University of Technology and the National University of Energy Malaysia (UNITEN)

As part of enhancing international academic partnerships, Professor Dr. Mohsen Nouri Hamza, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Technology, received Professor Dr. Firas Al-Naimi, Director of the Smart Energy Research Center at the National University of Energy Malaysia (UNITEN), to discuss the prospects of mutual collaboration between the two prestigious academic institutions. During the meeting, they reviewed the agreement previously signed between the two universities, and discussed the mechanisms for its practical implementation.

The discussions focused on five key areas of future cooperation, including:

Joint Research: Strengthening research collaboration between faculty members and researchers from both institutions.

  2. Curriculum Development: Updating and developing curricula to meet the needs of the labor market and future challenges.

  4. Postgraduate Studies: Collaborating on joint supervision programs and student exchanges between the two institutions.
