Chemical Engineering Department hold a celebratory program to open the first basket of the department’s achievements

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Hassan Al-Ghaban. In the presence of the Assistant President of Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Farhad Mohammed Othman, and under the supervision of the Head of Chemical Engineering Department, Prof. Dr. Khaled Ajami Sakr, the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Technology held a celebratory program, which included many activities, including the opening of the emergency stairs outside the department building, as well as the opening of the department’s elevators after complete maintenance.

The sustainable agricultural gardens of the department were opened, in addition to the opening of modern smart graduate studies halls and the information technology hall.

In this regard, Prof. Dr. Khaled Ajami Sakr stressed that holding this celebratory program is an evaluation and appreciation of the efforts of the members of the Department of Chemical Engineering and their distinguished role in advancing the scientific reality, improving the reliability of educational laboratories, and securing chemical resource stores according to the approved safety and security conditions, in addition to qualifying and developing the department’s infrastructure, stressing that the main message of the University of Technology and the Department of Chemical Engineering is to build a new scientific generation that represents a conscious and balanced personality that carries science and knowledge, and to highlight and support talents—emphasizing the importance of developing the department’s performance, improving its programs, and measuring its outputs by global developments.
