Civil Engineering Department Holds Seminar on “Drugs: A Danger That Destroys Nations”

The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Technology held an awareness seminar entitled “Drugs: A Danger That Destroys Nations,” delivered by Dr. Nour Lafteh Jassim from Ibn Al-Khatib Hospital, in the presence of the Dean of the Department of Civil Engineering, Professor Dr. Ali Majeed Khudair Al-Dahawi, and a number of faculty, staff, and students of the department in the Postgraduate Studies Hall.

The seminar aimed to define the types of drugs and their effects on the human body, as they are among the most dangerous social and health problems facing societies in the modern era. The lecturer reviewed the causes, effects, and possible solutions to address this devastating phenomenon.

The seminar concluded with the Dean of the Department presenting a certificate of appreciation to the lecturer, calling for unified efforts to confront this scourge and work to build a better future for future generations.
