Faculty Member from the Biomedical Engineering Department Honored with the Creativity and Excellence Shield

Assistant Professor Dr. Saad Mahmoud Ali, a faculty member in the Biomedical Engineering Department at the University of Technology, was honored with the Creativity and Excellence Shield for his participation in the Second Medical Patent Exhibition, held under the slogan “Innovation Today… Treatment Tomorrow,” which witnessed the participation of a selection of Iraqi researchers and innovators who presented their latest innovations in the medical field.

This honor comes in addition to the scientific output enjoyed by Dr. Saad Mahmoud Ali, Head of the Biomechanics Branch in the Biomedical Engineering Department, and is in recognition of his prominent role in the Second Medical Patent Exhibition, organized by the Iraqi Ministry of Health and the International Federation of Innovators in Iraq, in cooperation with the Department of Women’s Affairs and Human Rights, and with the participation of the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control.

This exhibition is an important scientific platform to support and encourage researchers and inventors in the health field, and to enhance cooperation between academic and health institutions in order to develop modern technologies that contribute to improving the quality of health care in Iraq.
