Two Faculty Members Present Training Workshop at Ministry of Construction, Housing, and Municipalities

At the invitation of the Training and Development Center of the Ministry of Construction, Housing, and Public Municipalities, and upon nomination by the Department of Civil Engineering, Professor Dr. Ibtisam Rahim Karim and Asst.Lect. Hassanein Saad Aziz conducted a training workshop on “The Use of Modern Technology in Conducting Laboratory Tests for Water,” in the presence of the Director and staff of the Laboratories Department at the Ministry of Construction, Housing, and Municipalities.

The workshop aimed to highlight the importance of conducting physical, chemical, and biological tests on raw water and drinking water using the latest technologies and comparing the results with international standards and Iraqi specification standards.

The workshop also included scientific dialogues between the practical and academic sides.

At the conclusion of the workshop, the workshop presenters were honored with certificates of appreciation by the Director of the Training and Development Center at the Ministry of Housing and Construction, in recognition of the lecturers’ efforts and a call for the organization of more similar workshops.
