
Biomedical Engineering Department Introduces Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering
The Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Technology has introduced a Master’s degree program in Biomedical Engineering for the academic year 2025-2026.
The Department of Biomedical Engineering aims to exert its utmost efforts to provide an advanced educational environment that keeps pace with the latest innovations in the field of biomedical engineering, in line with the aspirations of the University of Technology and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to achieve solid academic excellence. This achievement is a significant step that reflects the progress made by the department in the fields of education and scientific research, and opens new horizons for our graduates who wish to complete their higher studies in the specialization of biomedical engineering. The necessary preparations have begun in the department to provide all necessary and logistical matters for receiving graduates wishing to apply for a Master’s degree, in accordance with the ministry’s directives regarding applications for higher studies for the academic year 2025-2026.
The Higher Studies Committee held its first meeting, chaired by Professor Dr. Sadiq Hussein Bakhi, and with the membership of an advanced elite of the department’s faculty members, during which matters related to higher studies affairs were discussed, and the necessary mechanisms for developing the academic program were determined.
