The Environmental Research Center holds a lecture on Algae: The Future of Biofuels

The Environmental Research Center, as part of its cultural season activities, organized a lecture titled Algae: The Future of Biofuels, delivered by Assistant Lecturer Samari Atiyah, in the presence of the center’s staff.

The lecture focused on the most prominent innovations in the field of renewable energy, particularly algae, which serves as an alternative to fossil fuels. Algae benefit from photosynthesis, enabling them to produce large amounts of biomass quickly, without the need for vast agricultural land areas.

The importance of research and development was emphasized to improve the efficiency of biofuel production from algae and stimulate its role in achieving a sustainable future.
