
Biomedical Engineering Holds Graduation Project Competition for Senior Students
Biomedical Engineering Department at the University of Technology held a graduation project competition for its students.
This competition was held as part of the department’s scientific activities. Senior students presented their projects, each lasting no more than three minutes.
The discussion committee consisted of:
- Prof. Dr. Ziad Qasim Habib / Scientific Deputy.
- Prof. Dr. Marwan Nafie Ali.
- Dr. Raed Saleh Jawad.
- Dr. Taqwa Uday Fahd.
The competition witnessed a competitive and enthusiastic atmosphere, with students presenting their presentations in a professional manner that reflected the distinguished academic level they had acquired during their years of study. The committee commended all projects for their high-quality medical device design, as well as their innovative ideas that could contribute to improving the medical sector, whether in hospitals or rehabilitation centers.
The winning project, “Depression Detection Using Resting State EEG Signal,” was selected to represent the department in the next round of the university-wide student competition. The project was submitted by:
