The Environmental Research Center hosts a lecture on the importance of treating and recycling wastewater for car washing and its environmental impact

The Environmental Research Center at the University of Technology held a lecture as part of the cultural season activities, titled “The Importance of Treating and Recycling Wastewater for Car Washing and Its Impact on the Environment.”
The lecture was delivered by Dr. Iman Shaker Awad, a faculty member, and was attended by the center’s staff.
The lecture addressed the automotive sector, which faces environmental and economic challenges that require sustainable solutions to preserve water resources and reduce waste. It also covered sustainable solutions such as adopting water recycling systems, using dry washing methods and steam techniques instead of water, improving the efficiency of washing systems like high-pressure sprayers and nozzles designed to conserve water, as well as enforcing regulatory policies and promoting sustainable practices.
