Chemical Engineering Department Organizes Quranic Competition for Reading and Recitation of the Holy Quran

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Technology, Professor Dr. Mohsen Nouri Hamza, and under the supervision of the dean of the Chemical Engineering Department at the University of Technology, Professor Dr. Khaled Ajami Sukkar, the department organized a Quranic competition for students on Thursday, March 20, 2025, with the participation of (6) students from the initial academic stage.

The competition included reading and recitation of the Holy Quran with the aim of gathering students around the table of the Holy Quran and consolidating the relationship of university youth with the Book of God Almighty.

The competition concluded with the honoring of the participating students, who are: – Al-Jawadin Ali Hassoun – Al-Abbas Youssef Mutasher – Jaafar Al-Sadiq Raad Zaboun – Reda Hadi Salman – Musa Qais Abd – Abdul-Muhaimin Salah Hassan. In addition to honoring the committee supervising the competition, which includes Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Abdul Karim Mohsen as chairman, and Mr. Asaad Hassan Lafteh and Director Hala Wanis Muhammad as members.
