
Department of Communications Engineering Organizes Discussion Panel on How to Write a CV for Graduates
As part of the cultural and scientific season of the Department of Communications Engineering at the University of Technology, and under the supervision of the Dean of the Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Afanin Anwar Abboud, a discussion panel entitled “How to Write a CV for Graduates” was organized, attended by the Scientific Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Jabbar Salem, the Administrative Assistant ,Assistant Professor Hussam Hussein Ali, the Head of the Optical Communications Branch Assistant Professor Dr. Mustafa Diaa Haseeb, the Head of the Wireless Communications Branch Professor Dr. Mohammed Hussein Mari, and a large number of the department’s students.
The panel, which included lectures by Assistant Professor Hussein Abdul Karim Hamas, lect. Dr. Mohammed Fadel Hassan, and Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Rashid Hussein, covered three main topics: The first topic explained the most important points to know before starting to write a CV. The second topic highlighted the importance of providing advice to learners when writing a CV, avoiding common mistakes, and being familiar with the different types of CVs. The third topic explained the most important information that should be included in the CV and what should and should not be written in it.
The panel also addressed how to write a CV professionally, what interview questions are and their answers, how to pass interviews successfully, and what things to avoid in an interview.
