Head of Electromechanical Engineering Participates in a Seminar of Ramadan at the Ministry of Youth and Sports

Head of the Department of Electromechanical Engineering, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ghassan Abdul Hussein Bilal, participated in a Seminar of Ramadan organized by Ministry of Youth and Sports and chaired by its Minister, Ahmed Al-Mubarqa. The seminar was attended by the University of Technology’s Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Farhad Muhammad Othman, and the Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering, Prof. Dr. Khaled Ajami.

The session brought together a group of academics and lecturers from Iraqi universities to achieve fruitful cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, as well as to develop and advance joint work to advanced levels in the youth, scientific, and cultural fields.

The session witnessed an exchange of ideas and visions regarding joint action plans between universities and the Ministry related to the youth and women sectors, student training and preparing them for the labor market, and other fields.

The seminar presented recommendations for developing youth work in Iraq and strengthening ties and cooperation with academic institutions to serve Iraqi youth.
