Quality Assurance Department Participates in a Central Workshop at Al-Farabi University

The Director of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department at the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Zainab Nasser Jamil,  along with quality unit officials from the Applied Sciences and Computer Sciences departments at the university, participated in a central training workshop held under the supervision of the Supervisory and Scientific Evaluation Apparatus at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in coordination with the National Council for Accreditation of Science Specializations Programs at Al-Farabi University, where the standards, elements, and indicators for science colleges were discussed. The program accreditation standards for science specializations include 9 criteria: educational program objectives, educational program outcomes and their evaluation, curricula and continuous improvement, students, academics and teaching staff, administrative and financial support, university facilities, and services.

The workshop witnessed wide participation from heads of science specialization departments and directors of quality assurance and university performance departments and units in public and private universities, aiming to enhance academic quality standards and improve the level of scientific programs according to the latest national standards.
