The President of the University inspects final stages of the rehabilitation of Chemical Engineering Department’s laboratory annex building.

The President of the University of Technology, Professor Dr. Muhsin Nouri Hamza, accompanied by his assistants for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Farhad Muhammad Othman, and for Scientific Affairs and Graduate Studies, Professor Dr. Khawla Salah Khashan, as well as the Head of the Chemical Engineering Department, Professor Dr. Khalid Ajmi Sakar, and the Director of the University’s Construction and Projects Department, Dr. Adi Hamoudi, inspected the final stages of the rehabilitation of the Chemical Engineering Department’s laboratory annex building..

Professor Dr. Hamza reviewed the progress of the laboratory rehabilitation campaign aimed at ensuring safety and security requirements in the department’s laboratories. This includes providing safety equipment and showers for protection against chemical hazards, early fire detection systems, and standardized doors approved for laboratory quality, in addition to the comprehensive renovation of the building. The renovation included the rehabilitation of six laboratories to meet all approved quality standards.

Professor Dr. Hamza commended the efforts made by the Chemical Engineering Department in renovating the annex building according to the quality requirements of the educational process.

The inspection tour was attended by administrative staff and laboratory supervisors in the department.
