The President of the University of Technology attends the Student Forum Festival in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

On the occasion of the Golden Jubilee of the University of Technology, the President of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr.Mohsen Nouri Hamza, attended the Student Forum Festival (Drones: Between Use Strategy and Manufacturing Technology), which was held by the Mechanical Engineering Department , Aircraft Engineering Branch, in the Dr. Munir Al-Muzaffar Hall in the department.

The festival aimed to introduce undergraduate students’ projects in the branch and enrich them scientifically through scientific discussion between specialized professors and students.

The forum included the playing of the national anthem, followed by the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and the recitation of Surat Al-Fatihah for the souls of our righteous martyrs. Two lectures were then delivered, titled “The Economics of Modern Warfare and the Role of Drones,” by Dr. Muhammad Abdul-Kazem Al-Akili from the National Security Advisory, and a lecture titled “Drones and Manufacturing Technology,” by Dr. Ali Hassan Abdul-Hadi.

A presentation was given of outstanding student projects, in addition to three projects by students from the branch. Participants in the festival were honored, and at the conclusion, an exhibition of posters of projects by students from the Aircraft Engineering branch was opened.
