Administrative Assistant Dean inaugurates exhibition of students’ artistic productions in Electrical Engineering Department

The Administrative Assistant to the President of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Farhad Mohammed Othman, inaugurated the festival of artistic productions by students of the Electrical Engineering Department as part of the cultural and scientific week celebrating the Golden Jubilee of the University of Technology. The festival was organized by the Electrical Engineering Department in cooperation with the Student Activities Department and was attended by the Head of the Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jabbar Khalaf Mohammed, the Scientific Assistant Dean, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Yousef, the Administrative Assistant Dean, Asst. Prof. Dr. Kanaan Ali Jalal, and a number of faculty members and students of the department.

The festival aimed to highlight the talents and artistic creations of students in various academic years. The exhibition included a diverse collection of artworks, such as drawing, calligraphy, sculpture, photography, and music, providing a creative platform for students to express their ideas and creative visions and offering them a respite from the pressure of their studies. The exhibition also aims to encourage artistic innovation, develop students’ aesthetic sense, and enhance interaction between them and the university community.
