Students from Laser Engineering Department participate in Roya platform project

Students from the Laser Engineering and Optoelectronics Engineering Department at the University of Technology participated in Roya platform project (the electronic career guide).

The University of Technology team won first place in the Skill-Tech competition.

The project involved collecting and analysing data related to the number of students in each university department, the number of graduating students, and the number of students who withdrew or changed their university major.

It also focused on the important factors for choosing a scientific department, such as the popularity of the specialization, parental pressure, or a lack of awareness of other specializations. During the study, a set of problems faced by students and the university as a result of choosing the wrong specialization were identified.
