
Materials Engineering Department holds discussion panels for postgraduate students
The Materials Engineering Department at the University of Technology held discussion panels for postgraduate students (Master’s and PhD), as part of the cultural week activities and events for the Golden Jubilee, and under the supervision of the Dean of the Department, Prof. Dr. Jawad Kadhim Alawi, and his Scientific Assistant, Prof. Dr. Kadhim Mattar Shabib.
The students were divided into three groups: (The first group) consisted of 12 Master’s students and was held in the electronic hall. The discussion committee consisted of faculty members Prof. Dr. Hussein Alaa Jaber as Chairman and Lect. Dr. Lamees Salam Faiq as Rapporteur. The second group consisted of 11 PhD students and was held in the postgraduate studies hall, Building A. The discussion committee consisted of Prof. Dr. Sarmad Imad Ibrahim as Chairman and Lect. Dr. Dalia Mohammed Juma as Rapporteur. The third group consisted of 15 PhD students and was held in the postgraduate studies hall, Building B. The discussion committee consisted of Prof. Dr. Aseel Basim Abdul Hussein as Chairman and Lect. Dr. Hadeel Ahmed Abbas as Rapporteur. This initiative is one of the working methodologies for postgraduate students.
