College of Production Engineering Honors Faculty Members During Golden Jubilee Week

As part of the Golden Jubilee Week celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of the University of Technology, the Dean of the College of Production and Metallurgy Engineering, Dr. Muhannad Mohammed Hussein Al-Khafaji, honored a group of distinguished faculty members with the College Innovators Shield. The award recognized their excellence and dedication in utilizing their expertise to contribute to the college’s success.

In his speech during the ceremony, the Dean praised and expressed gratitude to the honorees, acknowledging their special role in this milestone event. He also extended his appreciation to all college staff for their continued commitment and service to the College of Production and Metallurgy Engineering.

The honored pioneer professors included:Prof. Dr. Muna Khudair Abbas, Prof. Dr. Sami Abbas Ibrahim, Prof. Dr. Sami Abu Al-Noon Ajeel, Prof. Dr. Israa Abdul Qadir Aziz and Asst. Prof. Dr. Saad Kareem Shather

Recognition was also given to:Prof. Dr. Ali Munther Mustafa and Prof. Dr. Firas Farhan Sayyed for highest research publication output, Asst. Prof. Mahdi Matar Hanoun for the highest h-index, Asst. Prof. Dr. Atiya Abdul Kadhim Jariyo for the most university and ministry-level participation in activities, Lecturer Mohammed Rajeh Jassim as Best Administrative Faculty Member and Jaafar Mohammed Jaafar as Best Employee
