Electromechanical Engineering Students Visit General Company for Air Navigation Services at Baghdad Airport

The Navigation and Guidance Engineering Department in the College of Electromechanical Engineering organized a visit for its second-year students to the headquarters of the General Company for Air Navigation Services at Baghdad International Airport, under the supervision of the Head of the Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Qasim, and a number of faculty members.

The students toured the various sections of the company to learn about the work stages and the equipment used.

The company’s staff provided a comprehensive explanation to the students about some of the procedures and inspections they perform on aircraft, including mechanical and electrical aspects.

The college delegation thanked the staff of the Maintenance Department at Baghdad International Airport for the valuable information they provided, which enhances the students’ experience and complements what they have studied in the theoretical aspect.

The visit comes within the framework of the agreement concluded between the College of Electromechanical Engineering and the General Company for Air Navigation Services, the terms of which included activating mutual visits between the two parties to conduct workshops and seminars.
