College of Electromechanical Engineering Holds Lecture on Oil and Gas Instrumentation

The Department of Oil and Gas Equipment Engineering at the College of Electromechanical Engineering, University of Technology, in collaboration with the Iraqi Engineers Syndicate, organized a lecture titled “Instrumentation in Oil and Gas: Flow, Pressure, and Velocity Measurement Devices.”

The lecture was held under the supervision of the College Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Ghassan Abdul-Hussein Bilal, and attended by the Head of the Department, Professor Dr. Mahmoud Mustafa Mahdi, Department Rapporteur Assistant Professor Dina Harith Shakir, as well as a group of faculty members and students.

The lecture was presented by Senior Engineer Mustafa Rasheed from the Iraqi Engineers Syndicate, who provided a detailed explanation of various types of instrumentation devices and their specific applications in the oil and gas industry.

Dean Dr. Ghassan welcomed the delegation from the Engineers Syndicate, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and the value of benefiting from the expertise of skilled engineers.

The event featured interactive discussions and questions from both faculty and students. It concluded with words of appreciation to Engineer Mustafa Rasheed Mohsen for his valuable insights and informative explanation of measurement devices used in the oil and gas sector.
