The Central Library Implements an Emergency Plan and Evacuation Drill

The Central Library at the University of Technology held an evacuation drill in its building and a training workshop on risk and crisis management and implementing the emergency plan.

The plan included several key components, including:

• assessing potential risks in various library facilities, and training academic and administrative staff on rapid response procedures in emergencies, including updating alarm and safety systems under established standards.

The Director of the Central Library, Asst. Prof. Dr. Salam Jassim Helou expressed his thanks and appreciation to all staff and students for the success of this event, as well as its supervisors, including the Head of the Occupational Safety and Chemical Security Division and the Head of the Civil Defense Division at the university.
