President and Members of the University of Technology Council Participate in the Inauguration of the Headquarters of the Union of Arab Scientific Research Councils in Baghdad

The President of the University of Technology, Professor Dr. Mohsen Nouri Hamza, headed the university council delegation, which included the Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Farhad Mohammed Othman, along with college deans, representatives of research centers, and participating faculty members. They attended the inauguration ceremony of the new headquarters of the Union of Arab Scientific Research Councils in Baghdad on Friday, May 16, 2025.

The ceremony was held under the patronage of the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Dr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, and was attended by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, as well as the Secretary-General of the Union of Arab Scientific Research Councils, Professor Dr. Abdelmajid Benamara.

It is noteworthy that the inauguration was held on the sidelines of the Fifth Session of the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit taking place in Baghdad.
