A workshop about the dangers of drugs in Electromechanical Engineering Department
Electromechanical Engineering Department organized an awareness- workshop on drugs and their negative effects on individuals and society.
The workshop delivered by Asst. Lec. Alia Muhammad Fadhel, a lecturer in Navigation and Guidance Division, and a member of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, Asst. Lec. Rafa Karim, in presence a number of lecturers and students.
The workshop reviewed the dangers of drugs and their serious effects on individuals in particular and society in general, as well as the resulting mental and physical health problems.
Preventive methods were also highlighted, including good parenting and the implementation of laws and policies that limit the spread of drugs, as well as the holding of awareness campaigns and scientific seminars to warn of their dangers.
The workshop provided a number of tips and recommendations for avoiding the destructive effects of these toxins, which contributes to building a healthier and more aware society in the face of various challenges.
