Al-Ghaban praises and expresses his happiness with the wide participation in the University Chess Championship

The President of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Hassan Al-Ghaban, praised the efforts made to make the Iraqi Universities Chess Championship a success, which concluded this afternoon, Wednesday, in the Central Library Hall at the University of Technology and was organized by the Student Activities Department in the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in cooperation with the Iraqi Federation for University Sports, hosted by the University of Technology and in cooperation with a number of governmental and private universities.

Al-Ghaban stressed, during his attendance of part of the University Championship competitions, the importance of paying attention to extracurricular activities, including the sports aspect, expressing his pleasure with the wide participation of governmental and private universities in this sports event at the University of Technology, and congratulating the winners of the first places in the male and female student competitions.
