Awareness Lecture on Female Students’ Conduct

The Women’s Affairs Unit, in collaboration with the Educational and Psychological Counseling Unit at the Department of Materials Engineering, University of Technology, organized an awareness lecture as part of the “University Fingers” program entitled “Female Students’ Conduct within the University Campus.” The lecture was delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Sara Salem Ahmed and Lect. Iman Kazim Hamza, in the presence of the Department Head, Dr. Jawad Kazim Alawi, the Head of the General Materials Engineering Branch, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jamal Dawoud, and a number of first-year female students.

The lecture aimed to educate female students about the importance of modest attire, avoiding excessive adornment, maintaining personal hygiene and neat clothing, and fostering positive relationships among female students and with male students. The importance of respecting friendships and collegiality during the study period was also emphasized.

At the end of the lecture, the two lecturers were presented with certificates of appreciation by the department head in recognition of their outstanding efforts in preparing and delivering the lecture. He encouraged the continuation of such activities to broaden the horizons of female students.
