
Biomedical Engineering Holds Lecture on College’s Vision, Mission, and Goals
The Biomedical Engineering Department at the University of Technology held a scientific lecture entitled: “The Biomedical Engineering Department: Vision, Mission, and Goals,” presented by Lecturer Dr. Ali Fadhel Al-Baawi, with the attendance of a number of the department’s students.
The lecturer clarified the future vision of the Biomedical Engineering Department and its mission, which is to serve the community by preparing specialized engineers who possess the ability to link engineering and medical sciences.
The lecturer reviewed the educational and scientific goals that the department seeks to achieve in light of the rapid developments in the fields of biomedical engineering. He emphasized the importance of the pivotal role that students play in supporting and achieving these goals through their active participation in academic and research activities.
This lecture was part of a series of scientific activities organized by the department, aiming to enhance students’ awareness of their academic specialization and to consolidate concepts of institutional belonging and future professional responsibility.
