Central Library Holds Seminar Entitled “Repercussions and Reflections of the Drug Phenomenon on Achieving Sustainable Development”

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Technology, Professor Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Hassan Al-Ghabban, and under the supervision of the Director of the Central Library, Assistant Professor Dr. Ziad Qasim Habib, the Central Library at the University of Technology held a seminar entitled “Repercussions and Reflections of the Drug Phenomenon on Achieving Sustainable Development” in cooperation with the Baghdad Health Department – Rusafa – Baghdad Al-Jadeeda Primary Health Care Sector, delivered by Dr. Heba Amer Rashid and Chief Physicist Ragheed Zuhair Khalil, in the Cultural Forum Hall at the Central Library.

The seminar aimed to provide useful health information to all employees, professors, and students of the university with valuable information about the types of drugs and their harms.

The seminar included several topics, including how to deal with cases of addiction, if any, and how to reduce and treat them as quickly as possible, as specialized health centers provide the necessary support. Another topic was how to communicate with the community police to adopt and address these issues in our society.

The seminar concluded with the Director of the Central Library presenting a certificate of appreciation to the lecturers, expressing his thanks and appreciation for the useful and valuable health information provided.
