
Chemical Engineering Department Concludes Second Round of Three-Minute Graduation Project Competition
The Chemical Engineering Department at the University of Technology held the second round of the Three-Minute Graduation Project Competition Festival, with the participation of students nominated from the first round across the department’s three branches: Chemical Processes Engineering, Chemical and Petroleum Refining Engineering, and Chemical and Petroleum Pollution Engineering.
The competition was characterized by an atmosphere of enthusiasm and scientific excitement, as the competing students presented distinguished projects that reflected the high skills and ability of creativity and innovation in scientific research possessed by all the nominated students of the Chemical Engineering Department in the competition.
The judging committee consisted of a selection of competent professors, chaired by Professor Dr. Thamer Jasim Mohammed, Professor Dr. Abdul Munim Karim, Assistant Professor Dr. Salah Salman Ibrahim, Assistant Professor Dr. Alia Khudair Majeed, and Dr. Haider Alaa Al-Jaafari. After a meticulous evaluation process and extensive discussion, the committee selected the project of student Maryam Mahmoud (Flat Glass Production) from the Chemical Processes Engineering branch, supervised by Lecturer Dr. Fadl Hashem, to represent the department in the next stage of the competition at the University of Technology level.
At the conclusion of the competition, the efforts of all participants were recognized with certificates of appreciation from the department’s presidency for their outstanding performance in the Three-Minute Graduation Project Competition.
