Chemical Engineering Department Holds a Comprehensive Meeting

Within the framework of the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Presidency of the University of Technology, as part of the government program for electronic administration, the Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Technology, Prof.Dr. Khaled Ajami Sukkar, held a comprehensive meeting with the Governance and Electronic Government Committee and the Information Technology Division in the department on Monday, October 7, 2024.  

The meeting aimed to discuss mechanisms for initiating the application of electronic systems in all scientific and administrative aspects of the department in order to prepare all the requirements for the transition towards completing all the scientific and administrative work of the department electronically. In addition to discussing proposals and mechanisms for completing the work, the nature of obstacles and the application process, as well as mechanisms for entering all data and information.

The meeting emphasized the importance and necessity of cooperation to start implementing the system and adopting electronic administration, which facilitates administrative work for students, employees, and professors, as it saves time and effort by converting routine paper-based administrative work from manual to electronic management.
