
Chemical Engineering Department Organized Scientific Lecture
Under the patronage of the President of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Mohsen Nouri Hamza, and under the supervision of the Head of the Chemical Engineering Department, Prof. Dr. Khalid Ajmi Sekar, the Human Rights Unit in the Chemical Engineering Department at the University of Technology organized a scientific lecture entitled (Human Rights in the Philosophy of Scientists and Thinkers: The Martyred Sayyid Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr (may his soul be sanctified) as a Model).
The lecture, delivered by the legal expert, Mr. Huthaifa Mohsen Saeed, provided a detailed overview of the principles of human rights and the human values that enhance the building of society. He also pointed out the importance of building a conscious young generation, as they represent the hope of this nation.
The researcher touched upon the writings of the First Martyr and highlighted the most prominent milestones of his scientific, intellectual, and humanitarian history in defending the approach of human rights and confronting dictatorship.
His scientific and intellectual works contained a large number of books and articles that represent a rich body of scientific contributions defending the rights of the individual and their role in building a society free from injustice. His works varied across all fields, including philosophy, economics, culture, and Islamic sciences.
It is worth noting that this day marks the commemoration and revival of the martyrdom anniversary of the Blessed Martyr on April 9, 1980.
