
Chemical Engineering Department organizes student scientific competition on the occasion of the university’s golden jubilee
Under the patronage of the President of the University of Technology, Professor Dr. Mohsen Nouri Hamza, and under the supervision of the Dean of the Chemical Engineering Department, Professor Dr. Khalid Ajmi Sakar, the Chemical Engineering Department at the University of Technology held a student scientific competition as part of the university’s golden jubilee celebrations. The competition involved the participation of (15) students who answered (15) diverse scientific questions within a specified time.
The competition sessions were conducted under the management of Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Abdul Karim and supervised by a judging committee composed of distinguished professors: Assistant Professor Dr. Alia Khudair, Lecturer Dr. Dhia Abdul Rasoul, and Lecturer Dr. Buruj Dhia.
The judging committee announced the competition results, with the Refining Engineering branch winning first place, the Pollution Engineering branch second place, and the Process Engineering branch third place.
The competition concluded with the distribution of certificates of appreciation to the participants. It is worth noting the participation of the three engineering branches of the Chemical Engineering Department, with the attendance of faculty members and students.
