Chemical Engineering Department Student’s scientific team participates in Scientific Care Department workshop on innovation hold at Youth and Sports Ministry

In light of the directives of the University of Technology and the Department of Chemical Engineering to encourage innovation and creativity among students, a scientific team of students from the department participated in the workshop organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports – the Scientific Care Department in the field of applied engineering sciences. The innovative students were selected according to controls, after their distinguished participation in the third phase of the Innovation Exhibition. During the workshop, the young innovators presented the results of their research and innovative projects, and discussed mechanisms for developing them in the future. Fruitful dialogue sessions were also held with the innovative students, with the aim of overcoming the obstacles they face and supporting their efforts to develop their innovations and transform them into an industrial reality.

It is worth noting that the student team participated in the project of recycling used cooking oil to produce biofuel by the student Omar Taha Omar, the student Abdullah Shaker Naeem, and the student Adel Khamis Hamid, under the supervision of the lecturer Dr. Qusay Jaafar Al-Obaidi.
