Civil Engineering College Holds Seminars for PhD Students in the Department of Highway and Geotechnical Engineering

The Department of Highway and Geotechnical Engineering at the College of Civil Engineering, University of Technology, organized a series of seminars for postgraduate (PhD) students in the college’s discussion hall to review the progress of their research projects.

The seminar sessions were chaired by the Head of the Highway and Geotechnical Engineering Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Maki Kamil, along with the Postgraduate Studies Coordinator, Asst. Prof. Dr. Khawla Kareem, and attended by the Dean of the College, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Majid Khudair, along with a number of faculty members, supervisors, and postgraduate students from the department.

During the sessions, the students presented their completed research work, which was followed by valuable input and interventions from the professors. These included scientifically rigorous questions and discussions aimed at evaluating and refining the direction of the research projects.
