College of Chemical Engineering Organizes Workshop on Importance of CBRN in Laboratory Work

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Technology, Professor Dr. Mohsen Nouri Hamza, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Chemical Engineering, Professor Dr. Khalid Ajmi Sakar, the College of Chemical Engineering at the University of Technology held a workshop entitled “The Importance of CBRN in Laboratory Work.”

The workshop included the delivery of scientific lectures by Assistant Professor Dr. Manal Afham Touma, head of the CBRN committee in the college. During the workshop, she presented a detailed overview of safe and sound handling mechanisms for chemical and biological materials through adherence to safety and security rules.

The workshop aimed to promote a deeper scientific and applied understanding, as well as develop cognitive awareness of safety and security conditions among participants, contributing to the preparation of distinguished chemical engineers capable of performing their tasks with high efficiency.
