
College of Civil Engineering Organizes Scientific Visit to University Presidency Annex Building Project
The College of Civil Engineering at the University of Technology organized a scientific visit for first-year students to the construction site of the University Presidency Annex Building project, which is currently under construction.
The students were briefed on the various stages of construction work and the details of implementation on-site, under the supervision of the teaching staff represented by Asst.lects. Murtadha Hardan Dawood, Rasha Mohammed Redha, and Hajar Khalid Jabbar. The visit also included interactive discussions aimed at developing the students’ observation and analytical skills.
This visit is considered an important step in supporting the educational process and introducing students to the realistic engineering environment from the early stages of their studies. It also enhances the practical aspect for students and links academic study with the field reality.
The students expressed their great benefit from this field experience, which brought them closer to the practical engineering reality.
