College of Control and Systems Engineering Organizes Scientific Visit for its Students to Baghdad Soft Drinks Company

In the context of linking the theoretical aspect with practical application, the Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering Department at the College of Control and Systems Engineering at the University of Technology organized a scientific visit to the Baghdad Soft Drinks Company, with the participation of a group of first-year students and under the supervision of several faculty members.

The visit included an introductory tour provided by the factory officials, during which they reviewed the company’s establishment history, production lines, and modern manufacturing mechanisms, in addition to the quality and safety standards followed. The students also learned about the various stages of the production process, starting from receiving raw materials, through processing and filling operations, up to packaging and distribution.

At the end of the visit, the students expressed their happiness with this experience, which enhanced their scientific knowledge and broadened their practical horizons, emphasizing the importance of such visits in linking academic study with the labor market, thereby contributing to the preparation of distinguished engineering personnel who keep pace with the requirements of the times.
