The College of Control Systems Engineering at the University of Technology organized a scientific workshop titled “The Impact of Technological Development on Student Motivation and Ambition,” presented by lecturers Dr. Wissam Kamel Mazloum and Asst. Prof. Serwan Walid Jarjees.
The workshop aimed to analyse the impact of modern technology on student behaviour, particularly concerning their academic motivation and personal aspirations.
The workshop addressed the potential negative aspects of excessive or undirected use of technology, such as over-reliance on artificial intelligence, a decline in self-effort, and distraction.
The workshop targeted both students and educational staff alike, with the aim of raising awareness about the risks of over-reliance on technology and encouraging a balance between technological tools and traditional skills in the educational process.
