College of Mechanical Engineering Welcomes a Delegation from the College of Science at Al-Mustansiriya University for a Scientific Visit

As part of the principle of mutual scientific cooperation among Iraqi universities and in support of academic and research integration, the College of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Technology welcomed a delegation from the College of Science at Al-Mustansiriya University for a scientific visit. The visit was organized by the Department of Atmospheric Sciences at Al-Mustansiriya University to the Department of Aeronautical Engineering.

The visiting delegation included: Asst. Prof. Dr. Israa Qahtan Abdul Karim – Head of the Department of Atmospheric Science, Prof. Dr. Muneam Hakeem Khalaf – Department of Atmospheric Sciences and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Fattah Hassoun – Department of Atmospheric Sciences

The delegation was received by the Dean of the College of Mechanical Engineering, Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdul Hadi Jabbar, in his office, where he welcomed the guests and emphasized the importance of such visits in strengthening scientific relations and enhancing cooperation between specialized departments across Iraqi universities.

The visit aimed to explore the capabilities of the Aeronautical Engineering Department, discuss avenues for collaboration, and exchange scientific expertise in a way that contributes to the development of academic programs and strengthens joint research projects.

This visit reflected the commitment of both institutions to fostering academic and research partnerships and to deepening the collaboration between scientific and engineering disciplines, an effort that will positively impact the quality of education and support the academic progress of Iraq.
