Communications Engineering Department organizes a discussion session on spinal disc herniation and its impact on the human body
As part of the activities of the cultural and scientific season of the department for the year 2024-2025 and under the direct supervision of the head of the department, Assistant Professor Dr. Afanin Anwar Abboud
The Department of Communications Engineering organized a discussion session entitled “Spine disc herniation and its impact on the human body” delivered by Dr. Shamel Shaalan Hamoudi, in the presence of the head of the Optical Communications Branch, Assistant Professor Dr. Mustafa Diaa Hassib, and the head of the Wireless Communications Branch, Professor Dr. Muhammad Hussein Mari, and a large number of professors, affiliates and students of the department.
The discussion session aimed to talk about the spine in detail as it is the largest support in the human body, as it has a connection and relationship with the rest of the body parts.
The lecturer also introduced the attendees to the types of injuries that can affect the spine, and the methods of treating them, in addition to mentioning the most important instructions that must be followed to avoid exposure to these injuries. The lecturer also conducted practical examinations for some of the attendees during the lecture and applied the most important useful exercises that must be done in emergency cases as first aid.
