Computer Engineering Department organize “Spreading the Culture of Electronic Payment” workshop

Computer Engineering Department at the University of Technology organized a workshop entitled “Spreading the Culture of Electronic Payment” in cooperation with the International Network of Cards Company for Electronic Payment Services (NEO). In the presence of the Administrative Deputy, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Musa Dinar, and a number of faculty members, affiliates, and students of the university.

The workshop delivered by Professor Ahmed Abbas, addressed the most important applications of electronic payment in daily life, with a focus on raising awareness of its benefits and how to use it easily and safely.

In addition, it included a detailed explanation of the steps for conducting electronic transactions, emphasizing the necessary security procedures to protect users.

The workshop concluded by allowing attendees to issue electronic payment cards (Visa) for free for those wishing to do so, in a step aimed at enhancing the culture of digital financial transactions and encouraging reliance on modern technologies in daily transactions.
