Computer Engineering Department organizes a “Three Minutes Thesis” competition: Present your idea in three minutes

As part of the golden jubilee celebrations of the University of Technology, the Computer Engineering Department organized a “Three Minutes Thesis” competition for postgraduate students, in the presence of the Scientific Associate Dean, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ayman Dawood Salman, and a number of faculty members in the department.

The competition aims to encourage students to present their research projects or ideas in a concise, persuasive, and inspiring manner within just three minutes, before the judging committee and the audience. This enhances presentation and scientific communication skills, contributes to simplifying technical ideas for the general recipient, and stimulates the spirit of competition and creativity.

The judging committee consisted of: Prof. Dr. Mohammed Najm Abdullah (Chairman), and the membership of Prof. Dr. Maysaa Abdul Ali Khadr, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Ghaydaa Mutashar Abdul Sahib.

This competition is one of the qualitative initiatives that the Computer Engineering Department is keen to organize as part of its continuous efforts to create a stimulating academic environment that contributes to preparing a capable generation of researchers who possess scientific presentation and effective communication skills, in line with the requirements of research and development in engineering and technical fields.
