Computer Science Department participate in the conference on modern applications of information and communication technology
Computer Science Department at the University of Technology participated in the activities of the third international conference “Modern Applications of Information and Communication Technology” held by Computer technique Engineering Department at Imam Al-Kadhim College of Islamic Sciences University.
The department was represented in this distinguished scientific forum by the Head of the Computer Security and Cyber Security Branch, Dr. Rana Muhammad Hassan, who gave a distinguished presentation during the conference on the joint research with Dr. Inaam Sakr Nasser entitled
“Hybrid Classifier for Detecting Zero-Day Attacks on IoT Networks”.
The research dealt with the latest technical innovations in the field of detecting Zero-Day attacks on Internet of Things networks, and received attention and praise from the attendees for the distinction of its scientific content and practical applications.
