Computer Science Department at the University of Technology organizes a workshop

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Hassan Al-Ghaban, the Department of Computer Science at the university organized a workshop on the “Postgraduate Students Follow-up System” in the presence of the Head of the Department, Prof. Dr. Alaa Kazem Farhan, the Administrative Assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Bashar Saadoun Mahdi, the Director of the Scientific Affairs and Cultural Relations Division, Eng. Anmar Ali, and the Head of the Planning Division, Assistant Lecturer Rasha Mohammed Mohsen, and professors and postgraduate students in the hall of the late Dr. Imad Kazem in the department building.

The lecture given by the member of the Central Committee for Automation of the University of Technology and the lecturer in the department, Assistant Lecturer Fadhel Abbas Fadhel, dealt with how to convert the paper form for postgraduate students to an electronic one based on the request of the scientific assistant so that the lecturer can follow up on the student, prepare the research plan and the percentage of completion, evaluate the student, prepare the theoretical aspects of the research, present the details, and modify the student’s information in the event of an error. The system also included specifying the date of the discussion and whether the modifications were made or not, and explaining the student’s academic history to appear to the supervisor.

At the end of the workshop, certificates of appreciation were awarded to the members of the Graduate Students System Committee in the department in appreciation of their efforts in delivering this lecture.
