
Control and Systems Engineering College Organizes Seminar on Voter Data Update
Under the patronage of the President of the University of Technology, Professor Dr. Mohsen Nouri Hamza, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Control and Systems Engineering, Professor Dr. Ahmed Sabah Al-Araji, the college organized an awareness seminar on updating voter data. The event was held in collaboration with the University’s Diwan Affairs Department and the Independent High Electoral Commission, and took place in the college’s conference hall with the attendance of several faculty members, staff, and students.
The seminar was delivered by Mr. Salam Inayah Hassan, a representative of the Independent High Electoral Commission / National Office. He addressed the importance of updating the voter card as a fundamental step to ensure effective participation in the elections. The lecture also highlighted the modern mechanisms adopted for the update process, emphasizing the citizen’s role in strengthening the democratic path and contributing to the building of an institutional state.
At the conclusion of the seminar, Dean Professor Dr. Ahmed Sabah Al-Araji delivered a speech in which he thanked the organizing bodies and participants. He stressed the importance of promoting electoral awareness among university students and staff, reaffirming the college’s continuous support for national initiatives that reinforce the values of citizenship and enhance the democratic process in Iraq.
