The College of Control and Systems Engineering at the University of Technology held a scientific lecture titled:
“Design and Implementation of Secure Li-Fi Technology-Based Real-Time Systems.”
The lecture was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Majid Muslim, who presented the key aspects of his master’s thesis, which he completed at Ankara University in Turkey.
During the lecture, he discussed the design and implementation of a system that transmits data and controls a robotic arm using Li-Fi (Light Fidelity) technology. The system incorporates three mechanisms for data transmission: Unencrypted Transmission – used for non-critical data, RC4 Algorithm Encryption – used for transmitting important data, and RC4 Algorithm Encryption – designated for transmitting confidential and sensitive data.
Transmission using the ARC4 algorithm is dedicated to transmitting confidential data.
