
Department of Architecture holds a symposium on “Architecture: A Home for Leadership and Innovation”
As part of weekly cultural festival celebrating the Golden Jubilee of the University of Technology, the Department of Architecture organized a cultural symposium entitled “Architecture: A Home for Leadership and Innovation.” The symposium was moderated by a number of department faculty members, including Prof. Dr. Bassem Hassan Hashim, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mufid Ihsan Al-Shawk, Asst. Prof. Dr. Zainab Hussein Raouf, Lec. Dr. Yahya Adel and Asst. Prof. Dr. Nagham Ahmed.
The symposium discussed architectural awards and their criteria for creative projects by hosted Asst. Prof. Dr. Rasha Abdul Karim from the Department of Architecture at Al-Nahrain University representing the Excellence Award in Iraq.
The symposium reviewed architectural awards, the criteria and instructions for participation, and the required presentation methods for projects participating in the Excellence Award, particularly the winning projects.
The symposium witnessed the presentation of a certificate of appreciation to the faculty member from the Head of the Architectural Design Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Zainab Hussein Raouf, in appreciation of her efforts.
