Department of Biomedical Engineering Organizes Lecture on Economic, Social, and Cultural Rights of the Individual

The Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Technology, in cooperation with the Human Rights Unit, organized a lecture titled: “Economic, Social, and Cultural Rights of the Individual.” As a part of the department’s scientific and cultural activities week.

The lecture, delivered by Lecturer Dr. Ali Fadhil Ba’iwi, aimed to raise awareness of economic, social, and cultural rights, and to support efforts made to protect them and achieve justice.

The lecturer pointed out the importance of the role played by institutions and human rights organizations in promoting these rights and making them the focus of public opinion.

The lecturer stressed the importance of cooperation between universities and human rights institutions to develop educational programs that contribute to spreading a culture of human rights and promoting social justice in society.
