Department of Electromechanical Engineering Holds Competition for Fourth-Year Student Projects
The Department of Electromechanical Engineering at the University of Technology held a “Three Minutes Talkesis” competition for the fourth-year student projects of all five branches of the department, in Al-Kindi Hall.
Nineteen projects competed in this competition, with their creators presenting a summary of their graduation projects in just three minutes, including the project idea, its importance, and the extent of its application in society.
The Dean of the Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Ghassan Abdul Hussein Bilal, said, “The aim of this competition is to develop students’ presentation skills and their ability to manage time.”
The Dean of the Department urged students to “develop their skills at all levels, in terms of full knowledge of the research project and familiarity with all its details,” stressing “to avoid tension and anxiety and speak strongly and confidently about what you want to convince the listeners of.” Three winning projects will be selected, and the winners will be given the opportunity to participate in the university championship.
